Over recent years, kitchen palettes have moved away from using timber veneer across all the cabinets – one look at this newly built home in St Lucia might change some minds! The ¼ cut Blackbutt veneer is used through kitchen, vanities and home library / office – and it looks stunning when teamed with the modern polished concrete floors, Caesar Stone Sleek Concrete benchtops and clean white walls. The architecture was designed by Nick Lorenz of Wilson Architects, to maximise the natural flow of light throughout. Solid timber Blackbutt towel rails compliment the strong forms of the mirror cabinet joinery, and the penny round tiles add a playful element amongst the clean architectural lines. We love the simplicity (and complicated detail!) of this well-appointed architectural home.
