Eclectic – industrial was the style inspiration for this apartment in Taringa – with a focus on more storage! The “before” kitchen featured blue walls and 70’s style timber joinery with woven mesh insert panels, boxed in and cut off from the main living room. After removing the wall between kitchen and living, we created a long breakfast bar and designed mirror image timbergrain bookshelves. We also included a floating shelves entertainment unit with fitted wall panelling, concealing cables and services. The tall units added much needed storage as well as disguising a structural column.
