Dimensions by Design (DbyD) offer detailed joinery solutions for both renovations and new builds. We design and manufacture kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, entertainment units, fireplaces, home offices, outdoor kitchens & walk-in wardrobes. The end result is the outcome of design generated from dialogue between craftsman, client & collaborators. Whatever your aesthetic - be it modern, traditional, contemporary or elements taken from design movements past and present, we can assist in your renovation journey. OUR PROCESS
ENGAGING OUR SERVICES
The initial phase is your first contact with DbyD, whether it be a phone call or a visit to our showroom. A consultant will discuss the project requirements with you and an appointment can be made if you would like to engage our services.
At the meeting, the designer will gather a brief for the project. This will determine the envisioned style and scope of work, and if we are being commissioned to provide design and detail drawings.
PROJECT PROPOSAL & PRESENTATION
If we are engaged to design the joinery for your project, a proposal will be sent to you outlining the design brief and our fees for the design work, if required. Once accepted, we will measure the site if not a new home and produce concept sketches and floor plans as well as any inspiration images needed to convey our ideas. This stage usually takes place over a few meetings. When you are happy with the designs, we will refine the drawings and present you with the final layouts which are yours to keep.
QUOTATION & INSTALLATION
After your quote has been accepted, a final site measure is arranged. Once the designs, materials, selections and appliances have all been confirmed and approved production of your locally manufactured joinery will commence. To complete the project the joinery will be fitted by DbyD. We can manage you entire project if required or we will work along side your nominated Builder or Subcontractors. Final completion is when we have inspected the project and you are happy with all work that has been commissioned.
PROVIDE PLANS
* If you have a detailed plan or architect drawn design we are able to provide a quote based on these plans, with options for various finishes if required.
We can offer up suggestions to optimize the functionality of the design for your consideration. The quote can be emailed to you or we can arrange a meeting to go through this with you and answer any questions you may have. This service is non-billable.
